ChangZhou To Tibet Riding Test
4700KM riding distance
4,700 km is not just a number—it is the toughest proving ground for Sobowo’s flagship models, the 'Cruiser' and the 'Polar Bear.' Rising all the way from the misty, rainy lands south of the Yangtze River to the snowy Tibetan Plateau, this 4,700 km journey presents an extremely complex road condition: it must not only cut through the endless traffic of the Chengdu Plain, but also grind over the gravel-strewn roads deep within the Hengduan Mountains along the G318 Sichuan-Tibet Highway.
4998 meters of elevation drop
Starting from the Jiangnan water town on the Changzhou Plain, at an elevation of less than 10 meters above sea level, and climbing all the way west to the cloud-shrouded mountain passes of Tibet at over 5,130 meters, this nearly 5,000-meter elevation difference is the harshest 'high-altitude exam' for an electric vehicle's powertrain. In an extreme environment where oxygen levels drop by 40%, Sobowo's dual 1000W high-power motors demonstrate remarkable anti-attenuation capability — power output remains as robust as ever, torque response kicks in within milliseconds during climbs, and every vertical meter is conquered with composed confidence.
14 Great Mountains
14 Great Mountains — These are the 14 formidable barriers strung across the sky on the Sichuan-Tibet Highway, and they serve as heroic waypoints measured inch by inch by Sobowo's "Cruiser" and "Polar Bear."

From Zhetongtang at 2,170 meters to the summit of Mount Dongda at over 5,130 meters, these 14 peaks — each towering above 4,000 meters — surge forward like giant waves one after another: Ga'ersi Mountain, Jianziwan Mountain, Kazila Mountain, Haizi Mountain, Zongla Mountain, Lawu Mountain, Jueba Mountain, Dongda Mountain, Yela Mountain, Anjiula Mountain, Sejila Mountain, Mila Mountain... each has its own temper — rubble, snow, black ice, dense fog, headwinds, steep grades, and endless "paperclip" switchbacks that stretch for dozens of kilometers, daunting even the bravest.
33 Days
33 Days — From Changzhou to Lhasa, across a 4,700 km journey, a 4,998-meter elevation drop, and 14 great mountains soaring above 4,000 meters, Sobowo's "Cruiser" and "Polar Bear" completed this unprecedented extreme challenge in 33 days.

33 days, averaging over 140 km per day; 33 days, facing the ever-changing weather of the Sichuan-Tibet Highway — scorching sun, rainstorms, hail, and blizzards often alternating within a single day; 33 days, overcoming fatigue and discomfort from altitude sickness each night, gathering strength for the next day in tents where temperatures drop below freezing.
